HDPE (High Density Polyethylene)
It is a type of polyethylene produced at low pressure, with density ranging from 0.936 – 0.960 grams / cm3. HDPE is widely used for packaging food products such as milk, buttermilk and chemicals such as pesticides, lubricants, detergents, chemicals. HDPE raw material can be processed in all plastic bottle reproduce processes. HDPE raw materials suitable for the production of plastic caps with thin walled containers are processed by injection molding process.
HDPE is a very economical and robust policy for many applications. In its natural state, milk white is a translucent substance. Therefore, HDPE is not used in applications where transparency is important. It can be easily painted to the desired color.
HDPE has very good barrier against moisture. Since the gas barrier feature is low, it is used in packages where oxygen permeability is important by coekstruding with barrier polymers, not single-storey. Resistance to chemicals is very good.
