Nanocomposites

It has been argued that the clay and similar fillers of nano size reduce the gas permeability of plastic materials and nanocomposite rigid plastic packaging has begun to be developed. Since the use of a small amount of fillers will be sufficient to be used in the creation of this material, it is reported that the color and other characteristics of the final plastic product have not changed due to the addition of clay or similar substances. Most of the nanocomposite creation works are carried out on PP (polypropylene), which has high gas permeability. However, studies on PET (polyethylene terephthalate) are also available.
